Probably from ppl who don't listen to Afropiano or african music enough to have developed a taste for distinction

Shes still top 5 on the Apple Music US albums chart. We'll have to wait for HDD top 50 list to see where she debuts.

I really like the album. Been listening all weekend. I understand the criticisms regarding the songs sounding the same. I think it's mainly the rhythms in the percussion and her use of choral like vocal stacks on her hooks.

 

I however, see those elements as sonic themes and can appreciate all the variation and nuance the album offers.  A very solid album and excellent for a debut!

 

Whether or not it happens, the album is full of "hits"

Is ART an official single or just promo for the album release?

This is really good. No skips at all! The people coming for the sound are def the ones that go hard for Ava Max type of music so very disposable opinion 

safer has been on repeat all day such a bop 

She and Tems have me in a chokehold with No.1 I fear 

 

Overall it's a great debut; really establishes her lane but she has the type of voice where if she wanted to switch up genres I could see her doing that very effortlessly.

I think it's just a promo single. Has not been sent to radio as far as I know. I think she will keep pushing Truth or Dare since it's (slowly lol) growing still and then a new single in late spring/summer. Jump seems like an obvious single choice. On My Body, Breathe Me, No.1 are great single choices too imo. I can see ART getting it's moment too since the dance challenge has gone mini viral lol she's got options

I'm still sad about the tour being canceled. I had Meet & Greet tickets  but after seeing how she was avoiding moving her left leg/foot on Kai's stream last night whenever he tried making her dance… I'm not expecting tour anytime soon. She couldn't even do the Water challenge correctly 

 

I just hope she gets through her summer festival slots without any issues.

Okay. I like this approach. Hopefully Truth or Dare grows and becomes the hit it deserves.

 

It's obvious, to me at least, that On My Body or Jump need to be the next single. Both are good cause they sound different from all the others, but would eat especially with a video and some hot choreo . My vote is go with On My Body next for the summer! And follow up with Jump in the fall.
