Chromatica is a gem all the way around. It's her best, in my opinion.

ARTPOP wins 

ARTPOP was what some people say about Bionic. Ahead of its time and whatnot. Chromatica was good, but sonically made sense at the time when dance music was popular (despite it being during the era of Covid) 

 

ARTPOP was much more entertaining, visually speaking. Applause being one of her best singles imo. There was a lot of stand outs that were exclusively “Gaga” coded as opposed to Chromatica which had a lot of songs that reminded me of other artists (won’t say names)… Basically, ARTPOP was more original. Chromatica had better production overall though.

I only use manicure & Mary Jane Holland off artpop these days

ARTPOP for all 

Chromatica is more enjoyable throughout, ARTPOP kinda really falls apart after the first half. 

ARTPOP would've been stronger if more conventional songs like Gypsy or Fashion were replaced by edgier tracks. Chromatica is what it is, mature mental health dance pop. 

Both unfairly underrated

Remove R. Kelly from DWUW and you got the best single line up, a huge contrast from Chromatica.

chromatica as a whole is better because it actually has a concept and all, but i prefer the songs on Artpop

Chromatica is good but the isssue I have with it is that it’s missing that Gaga touch that her albums pre-Joanne had.

An utter landslide for Artpop, and yet I’d say Babylon is better than almost any individual song off Artpop. 

Artpop (despite a few skips) is much more captivating, fun and original to me. Chromatica lacks the personality that I love(d) from Gaga. 

ARTPOP, sweetie, I am so sorry.

ARTPOP at least has life to it.

ARTPOP had better singles for sure, but in terms of being a whole album, it suffers hard because of absolute stinkers like Jewels N Drugs, Fashion! and Gypsy.

Chromatica has decent highs, but not nearly as terrible lows.

As for the covers, I voted for Chromatica, but it’s close. I enjoy the garishness of ARTPOP, but I enjoy the Aliens vibe I get from Chromatica more.

Chromatica and it's not remotely close, AP does have better singles though
