I just don’t get it. It’s cheap sounding machine gun Kelly level pop rock mixed in with Halsey voiced teen ballads about being the other girl… groundbreaking? I think not

still shocked Pitchfork of all places would be rooting for her  she could've gotten BNM if she swapped one of the ballads with obsessed

they're right about the ballads dreading the album down a lot.

I expected BNM tbh after the two BNT, but obviously this is a great score.

 

This album is nowhere near Melodrama and comparisons shouldn't even be made. It's a cute 7.5-7.8 imo (which is a great score, idk why people act like thats a pan). This hyperbolic level of Poptimism really needs to be stopped though. And I'm including my fave Taylor in this after some of those Midnights reviews.
