      to be fair I cried watching both  the bench scene and the ending with the Billie song both got me    but EEAAO is the better movie. it's not even close, tbh.

    Barbie is great but EEAAO is the much better movie

    Both amazing campy movies

    Barbie is a bigger cultural phenomenon but EEAAO is much better and more important, film history-wise

    One is an original and historically significant genre-defying masterpiece, and the other is the longest toy commercial ever made. 

    Michelle Yeoh was the one piece of EEAAO that felt worthy of the ecstatic praise it received; she truly anchored the movie for me when everything else felt off the rails. I think Barbie is a more consistent and balanced movie in terms of camp/silliness vs earnestness

    Barbie is mediocre, EEAAO is the better movie even it's overrated

    I loved Barbie but EEAAO is a masterpiece. (Up there with Parasite, La La Land, etc IMO).

    Thinking about it...the Best Picture nominees/winners from the past few years have actually been quite great.
