Both albums are by super stars and launched them to new career highs. One crucial similarity is that they both were surprise releases that went on to sell a million copies in two or three weeks. 
 

Now in hindsight, which was more impactful across popular culture art?

Both were moments but I will go with the FOLKLORE.

I even can't. Many of people who I know that don't like Taylor much outside of her hit singles,  literally adore this album

I enjoy and return to BEYONCE more often, but Folklore is also a great record. Both are really good.

I vote for the album with song like xo, partition, haunted and drunk in love. One of the most mature and seductive Beyoncé album to date.

Folklore is aging better tho, feels more timeless, BEYONCÉ sounds like a perfect record of it’s time but it’s a bit stuck in 2013-2014

Beyoncé is better, more impactful, more relevant, more artistic, more daring, more culturally significant. 

Beyoncé influenced folklore so for impact it’s not even a question. It’s also a better album to me, much more creative videos for every song the music is sooooo good
