I agree with this being the reason for her downfall. What’s weirder is she became MORE childish as time went on rather than the opposite. Going from sexy pinup girl with I Kissed A Girl/California Girls to Roar, then this video for her 4th album, before evolving into an actual clown for album #5. OT: I’m voting YNTCD by Taylor. The obvious pandering was beyond cringe and low key offensive.

She didn’t stop chasing them on purpose. Radio dropped her with 4 so she changed gears and focused on albums & touring. Worked well for her. She still does from time to time. BMS obviously had a huge radio deal. & every track from Lemonade was sent to radio simultaneously.

Not playing dumb, I’m giving context to those who don’t know the situation. Nicki said it happened but didn’t name anyone. Barbz instantly attacked Meg for it. Meg said it’s not true. Barbz continued to attack her by saying she’s guilty for responding to something even though she wasn’t brought up even though the tweet she responded to specifically tagged her and asked for a response from her.

Nobody was running to Vegas one after the other after Celine went there so I wouldn’t say she revitalized it. We all know who did, but this site struggles giving certain people credit for obvious reasons. Having said that, a thread about resenting Celine with her current health issues seems distasteful. It’s possible! They had a few back & forths after Britney got her freedom. Gaga had beautiful things to say and Britney seemed really appreciative. Gaga’s also been a fan since the beginning and Britney always seemed to like her.

This and also I was always confused why they went with the “most personal album” route along with a Vegas residency. If anything, it should’ve been a dance/party album. & of course the obvious… it’s her least personal for obvious reasons. In hindsight, just one song to promote the residency would’ve been better than that mess of an album. Didn’t even need to be solo. A collab with Calvin Harris or some dj would’ve worked and been much better.
