Doja Cat - "Attention"

This is extremely bad, you know that right? :skull:

Only if you are a chart obsessed stan and you think every album by an artist has to match the success of their bigger project, competing with Dua Lipa's or whoever is on top's numbers.

If you look at the bigger picture, no, you can't rule out and album with 300 million of streams. Sometimes you forget that we're talking about popstars. Even the smaller ones like Demi, Camila or Halsey have huge audiences.

  • And yet Attention and I am not a woman, I’m a god are easily their best material.   Two days of a song not demolishing the charts are really enough for some of you to start putting down girl

I feel like girls like her and Halsey try too hard to earn respect and it just doesn't work like that for pop girls like them

Wait this is holding up much better than my expectations

I also think the chorus is quite catchy ... Doja's team should try to license it to TV ads, movie soundtracks etc IMO

Artist release promotional singles all of the time. This definitely reminds me of when Jay Z released "DOA" as the promotional single before releasing Run This Town and Empire State of Mind. Really curious to hear and see what follows. I personally love that she totally changed the pace of things coming from a really pop centric hip hop debut LP.

Top 20 possible now:

She should’ve kept both the placeholder cover and the new cover as separate singles….aka pulling a BTS “Butter”. :coffee:  That way it can get an extra sales boost.

The way tik tok once again eat this up. The Look at me look at me youre looking going viral.

As long as Tik Tok is still there, Doja wont flop.

19 Pop radio adds :gaycat5: not sure if this are the final number

Love when we defeat Doja :dies:

and they thought it was over :bibliahh:

So I had Spotify on while I was with a guy and it sounds so much better on the speaker while having sex

Personal experience….

I'm happy it's rebounding on Spotify because I love this song :duca:

I hope the 2nd single is her rapping the verses and a Pop/R&B girl singing the hook

shame they buzz single'd this, could've become her classic since it has the old school 90s/00s vibe. well, charts not the arts

wait at the stability in the US :jonny6:

I have listened to this like 3 times in total but a lot is stuck in my head. The chorus and some of the first verse eg
