It's not just a "stan thing". Hasn't Timbaland expressed he wants to use AI in his future projects, even recreating The Notorious B.I.G. voice for a new song? I hope that eventually AI will be either

It's way into the future,

To create these AI assisted covers need a vocal model to work off of and a human singing a vocal track.

I for one accept the future and can’t wait for it to become a part of our daily lives

the rest still sounds like Madonna

Not really

The AI caught some Britney isms, the best example is how it pronounced "wild" like "wilDt"

feels like Ursula stealing Ariel's voice LOL. Kinda iconic

It's almost creepy how clean the vocals are, it sounds like she actually recorded it.

They're massively increasing in fidelity and the scary part is anyone can use this AI to their advantage. From music producers... to scammers.

Some are misses but some are hits for sure. I didn't know I needed a disco track by Britney until today.

I hope that eventually AI will be either banned or heavily restricted. Those fanmade covers are fun, I guess, but I don't know how I feel about listening to new AI generated Whitney Houston or Michael Jackson albums.

There is hope for Rihanna stans though...

Some people (wont name them) in this thread are so naive. Do you even realise that with AI singers like JLo and Rih and Brit can actually do NOTHING AT ALL and still have albums out? They kinda did that without AI, imagine the possibilities that we get completely fooled. Like what if they dont even want to tell you that it's AI? And that's just 1 small perspective into AI, there can be many more issues, even crimes.

Music is one thing, but the way AI manipulate politics and fearmonger… It’s a bad time.

EXACTLY.

I think the end goal of this is far more nefarious than cute little robot covers of your favorite existing pop tunes. Hell, even that alone is creepy enough, esp. when they start making whole songs/albums for deceased artists with a near perfect vocal take.
