What are you even talking about :deadbanana4:She literally says 50% negative news. She said nothing about her not seeing negativity.

Just say you can’t comprehend well & GO!

I 100% agree. Watching the news is a literal attack on your peace of mind, can't do it anymore.

Isn't this “WAKE UP!!!” mentality was why she got disliked by the GP during the Witness era?

I mean, I get what she's saying, but it's not like I decide what makes the front page on the NYTimes, sis

If you are famous Katy ask those people. Don't ask a buncha stans from the 2010s

she has a point. a good mental state is needed because if more happiness is around us then we feel more happy. the same happens when there's so much bad happening then you can feel even worse because of the lack of light. :clap3:

The literal meaning of putting your rose-colored glasses on…  :deadbanana4:

What is she talking about :rip: , girl stop with the hidden messages and say things directly

I mean, she’s not wrong. It would be nice to ALSO see a lot of good news. There are good things out there happening. Constantly being fed negative things is not good for the GP as a whole.

"How DARE you peasants disrupt my bubble with news of you dying and suffering?"

She said 50% so it's more of a rose-colored monocle

Giving tin foil hat :deadbanana2: someone should take away her Twitter

She’s not wrong. But I can see how people can feel off hearing it from someone with money and fame. Either way I been ignoring the news and creating my own reality for a while now and I’m happier than I have ever been. Call me delusional or whatever :celestial2:

This

I'd say the US already does a pretty good job of hiding its crimes with glitter and rainbows

These kinds of questions make little sense to me.

Love Katy, but there are plenty of positive stories readily accessible. If you turn on GMA or Today for example, they have several hours every morning dedicated to topics that range from pure fluff, to uplifting stories, or innocuous fun.

It’s there, it’s always been there. What people choose to focus on and call attention to is their own prerogative. Do some news conglomerates profit off of fear-mongering and exploitative narratives? Yeah, and in a perfect world that would be addressed but I don’t think her proposed 50/50 deal is the answer.

So comfortable we living in a bubble bubble!

omg I'm so tired of hearing about all the problems in the world it's so hard on me and my perfect life

I mean.. it's not like I haven't noticed the imbalance in general but.. the bad stuff typically needs to be known more. But I get the point she's trying to make.
