I think Jaded is pretty basic actually. I liked it at first but there's nothing interest about it except for the beautiful bridge.

Radio was supporting River until they decide to make Jaded a Single they basically removed River from radio to give a chance Jaded

How on earth is having an opinion an assumption? It sounds dated. The public despite playlisting didn’t listen to it. Jaded is doing much better. 
 

It’s like…maybe you’re the ones with the opinions it doesn’t sound dated that are actually the minority. 
 

Miley even has a song that people were comparing River to when it came out and even thought it may have sampled it and it’s from 2010: 

 

 

sing talk verses, similar busy instrumental with similar melody.

 

I know there are elements of River that are on trend, but the way it comes together is as a whole very dated and too busy. The public obviously agreed so let it be.

It’s not ignorance lmao. You’re ignorant to the fact that modern sounds can come together to make something that sounds of another time. I don’t care if the song uses techno acid doof doof, the issue is how it comes together. 
 

The instrumental is 2010’s busy not helped by the poor mastering. Too many things going on, the transition from pre chorus to chorus is anti climatic because of how much is going on. 
 

People like you who believe “well it’s using an element of the genre so it’s on trend and fresh” rather than listening to the music as a whole package are so prestigious, which is rich since you worship Kesha demos made in her basement when she was 19 so forgive me if I don’t take you seriously.
