I usually am never the type to think a popstar “owes” their fans anything beyond just dropping music, but Miley’s radio silence this era has been super annoying and disheartening. We never know if something bad could be happening behind the scenes/in her personal life, but still. Sure, she’s always gotten easily bored and ruined her eras, but this time should’ve been different. She got the biggest song of her career and refused to capitalize on it in literally any way - it doesn’t make sense. Especially when she seemed so lively and promo-ready around NYE.

If Miley isn't going to do a single thing to push the song then it's just dead on arrival. no video no interviews no performances no tweets no tiktoks... just nothing

 

Radio seemed happy to push it this far but they're not going to carry a song that has nothing else going for it, especially after River didn't work out. I feel like this song only has 1-2 weeks left before it stalls and dies

if she’s smart she’ll record a music video that’s very suggestive and portrays her relationship with Liam 

play on certain elements she alludes to in the song like alcoholism, abuse, hire a hemsworthless look a like, etc. create buzz y’know

it worked for flowers this is the only thing that can save this song

Snooze has a 90M playlist reach, Jaded has 20M  they're not the same. but it's surely frustrating to watch

Literally any other ESV song wouldn't do much without playlist support or promo. If anything, most wouldn't even have radio support. 

 

Jaded was the obvious single choice, but at this point it's clear she doesn't care. Miracles won't happen and Tiktok is already busy with ALY, so her lazy ass can't rely on that either.

Does everything have to be a chart success for you to enjoy a recording? The song is a career highlight and that itself is a success considering she's 7 or 8 albums in (I'm not sure of the exact amount)

MS > PRISONER > ANGELS

 

this was such a perfect single run. imagine if this current era had equally good single choices or that era had the same momentum as flowers leading it. 

 

And still wasn't added by Z100 or KIIS  They hate her again!

ESV is so far my fave album Of the year… it’s weird she hasn’t do anything for this album. Jaded potential is big! I wish she could do something
