The exact same pattern happen for any artist when they're on top. Just look at the recent case with Rihanna. She's been taking the heat for all her career when she was active. Until the Superbowl she was more and more revered and respected, and as soon as she gets a career boost thanks to the Superbowl the entire website is coming at her again. That's just stan world, and any fanbase thinking they're better than another is just a joke.

Yes actually. I've listened to most of her albums in full and found them largely inoffensive, if nothing to write home about. I don't really mind Taylor herself, it's just her fans who act like her VERY basic, teenage-oriented pop music should be winning Nobel prizes that entice me to drag her
