gugunikko Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 They wanna be oppressed so bad especially the white trans/ pronouns community. Why do they always get so outrage when someone outside of internet doesn’t know pronouns and genders identities.

You don't have to know it all about pronouns and gender identities to not kill or want to take rights away from other human beings.
elevate Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 While I agree that white ppl (surprisingly, in my experience, Europeans more so than Americans) can be very entitled, especially the men, I'm not sure this is a good example. There was a Republican who mentioned at their convention recently that trans people should be "eradicated". This is actually a legitimate precursor to genocide.

Ok big bag wolf. No one wants to kill them, they are white. Edited March 9, 2023 by gugunikko

I wouldn't say that this isn't a good example. I mean there are trans people who aren't white who speak about these issues, and a lot of people from those minorities who aren't trans speak up on these issues as well. I think it's weird when white people point the finger at other minorities for not speaking on LGBTQ issues because they inadvertently reveal that they don't see the members of the community who aren't white as part of the community. But I think every demographic has its fair share of transphobes and homophobes. Edited March 9, 2023 by Obsession

We are having conversation about white people here. They can change their pronouns, sex, sex identifies many times but they will always be white, entitled and privileged regardless how much they victimize themselves. We don’t chose our colors. No, I said nothing about white people. You asked why people get "enraged" when others don't fully comprehend being trans or gender-nonconforming, and I told you that it doesn't need to be fully understood to not lack compassion and want to shun them from society. Because every transgender or gender non-conforming person isn't white...correct? What I'm saying has nothing to do with white people. I have no comments on the OP that I'd like to share.

Them going after minorities is embarrassing, but they're not wrong about the other part. They should have just said that there hasn't been enough noise made about this. It is true that people generally ignore what's happening with trans folk, mostly thinking Republicans won't just move on to them after.

I said they as in white people. I was talking about white peoples and you quoted so i automatically assumed you are talking about white peoples.
Gov Hooka Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 This kind of rhetoric (the one in the tik AND the OP’s) misses the point. Y’all are so poisoned with identity politics
The Next Day Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 What I don't understand is why is it always "I judge minority A about not supporting minority B" and not "Let me reach out to minority A so we can work together to support minority B"? But this take is way too vague anyways, the person is probably mad some of their friends didn't know about the topic. Either way, this whole discussion screams performative cause the focus isn't on the actual problem.
Pheromosa Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 because they've weaponized political correctness in order to police POC while pretending to be "ALLIES"
Ricardo1993 Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 That person is very clearly racist and could have raised a point without feeling the need to throw people of color under the bus.
imabadkid Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 the title of this thread for sm reason is taking me out... like just randomly scrolling ATRL I didn't expect to see that
samsclubPRESENTSavam Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 (edited) never being told 'no' and not having people look at you suspiciously all the time will do that. I work in a store and white ladies think nothing of insisting on coming to the back room "to see what we've got". they get so mad when you say no and don't think anything about doing the same exact behaviour they'd lose their mind over if a black person did that. Zoe_ Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 At this point in life, I think we should not use generalize any group of people because it can be done to anyone. We must hold individuals accountable for their actions. Not a group of people. There's trash in every group.

Delirious Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Not really no. But there do tend to be a large influx of white liberals who are secretly racist Asians and are homophobic. Call them out on their bullshit!!!!
HEAVYONIT Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 (edited) How about not generalizing race Edited March 10, 2023 by Black Jesus
BGKC Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 (edited) Me watching white, right wing bigots write such bills up and make the “threat of the LGBTS” the focal point of their policiless campaigns. this is also just them admitting they have an unseason algorithm, because I see tons of queer POC speaking out about this on my FYP. Anyways, how about not generalizing race It will be called racist because Black people aren’t entitled. We are underrepresented, underfunded, and over policed. ————— but anyways the tiktoker’s point is disrespectful to all of the Black and POC activist that stand up for trans rights. This person has to be living under a rock to not notice Black trans activism. The ball scene thrived because of Black trans people, particularly the fen Queens, so please, give up Deelishis
