These sound the "freshest" of Gaga's LPs. ARTPOP sounds more authentic whereas Chromatica sounds more polished and relatable.

Which do you think is better? More effective or compelling? Or just which do you prefer?

Artpop killed her career so I vote for that one

Chromatica gave her another #1 single and a grammy so i vote for that one.

I think atrl hates Chromatica but i hink it’s a great album. And i dont even like Gaga that much.

Artpop is very GaGa, has a lot of personality and it's fun.

Chromatica it's a cute effort, but honestly, Kim petras or ava max could release an album like that.

ARTPOP. Chromatica is Gaga's worst album and was saved by the features.

ATRL and Liddos hate on Artpop because it was a dark time for Gaga's career

however it's a better album than Chromatica

I hate how yall mostly connect an underperformance to an albums actual quality

start listening/thinking for yourselves

Artplop is a directionless mess in every way.

Chroma is probs her most generic but still a decent album.

Chromatica is pretty excellent, there's a lot of pop perfection there! (see: Alice, Rain on Me, 911, Plastic Doll, Enigma, Babylon...)

Artpop has a few highlights, but a few clunkers as well... I'd say Chromatica is better overall :gaygacat1:

ARTPOP is explosive with more experimental instrumentals and oozes with personality

Chromatica is more mature and polished. It flows better from top to bottom and is sort of a comfort album to me.

Both are good but ARTPOP impresses me more sonically. I mean, the instrumentals to Aura/Venus/GUY/title track/MJH are just some of her best. Both albums have their highs and lows, but I do think ARTPOP's are higher.

ARTPOP. It's such a classic. Got tired of Chromebook immediately. I still bop to ARTGOD. :WAP:

what i dont like about artpop is that gaga tried to sell it as a masterpiece of pop music as high art but it was just sampled edm beats from other artists  like

chromatice was cute for two months but got boring rather quickly

Chromatica.

However, ARTPOP has my favorites DWUW & Sex Dreams.

ARTPOP all the way. Chromatica is really good also but not that genius as ARTPOP.

ARTPOP for G.U.Y alone which Chromatica does not have anything close to I fear

ARTPOP. Much more interesting, better lyrics, better melodies, better performances, better concept...
