  1. No her whole concept is being sharp-tongued and that works with rock but not with synth.
  2. Yes, on ATRL especially. People act like she is the first artist to tell a story through music or the first to write relatable lyrics. No, everyone does this.

  4. Um this "myth" came from all the numerous images of her with her fans?? Who appear to be about 95% (white) women?? What better way to determine who her fans are?

  10. The reason is because she's basically the only black female R&B artist so of course she's going to be successful because she fills that slot in the industry. Rihanna does too of course but she's more of a pop star instead of a hip-hop artist.
