finished the album and already in love with it  the album having such seemless transitions made the listening experience so much more pleasing! i love how the 1st and last track feel the same yet so different thematically! she really did follow up take me apart with something serious! the production is just 10/10.

Anyways, she truly delivered AOTY in February. Like this will be almost impossible to top.

Rebecca Black already topped it but it was cute 

My biggest concern with this record is that it's a bit too samey for it to be this long. Had it been cut of 4/5 tracks, it would have been perfect and an early AOTY contender.

Actually it should have been 30 tracks long and I am terrified at the thought of any song being cut 

This album is AMAZING. So minimal, so effortless and so gorgeous. The flow makes it perfect. It feels like so water-like but at the same time its very 'city dark at night, you are leaving the club somewhat drunk and you just saw the person you've been eyeing the whole night kiss another person at the dance floor', idk if that makes sense. I fear she has topped TMA, which I thought would be impossible to do so.

This is so much nuanced than Take Me Apart. The intricacy. The layers. I'm speechless 

Sorbet is the best song of all time. Why? 

I listened to this non-stop all day yesterday but somehow it sounds even better today? 

Oh this album is GODLY esp. after the first half, I literally transcended while being high af…and I didn’t expect that after hearing the singles (even though they’re the perfect groovy rnb songs) l

The way you all made this sound like some ambient Enya album, there's so many boppy moments on here even if it's generally downtempo  

the cover compliments the music so much 

 

it really feels like diving in dark water 

The title track is transcendental

 

OMG! The acclaim!! The way everybody is having different favorites

 this is like renaissance’s darker, slicker but lighter (as it pertains to weight) sister.  my 2022 and 2023 AOTYs

 

in fact the album sounds like the prettier black bird feather you have every laid your eyes on. 

 

I actually was thinking the same thing about Renaissance  both have such sick and smooth transitions and bring you into their own worlds
