I am really disappointed in NMIXX. They abandoned their whole concept after 2 releases which resulted in this mini seeming absolutely faceless. At least the prerelease could’ve been in style of their previous releases. 
They should’ve kept going with their previous previous musical concept and just dropped Mixxtopia. No one even knows what that is anyway. 
As long as they don’t go back to their concept they lost me. 

Lilly could have been a monster soloist with mass appeal in the West since JYP has always loved chasing relevancy here. No idea why they chained her to so many untalented girls and a horrible concept. It almost looks like a set up to keep her from debuting with anybody else and prop up shitzy in turn.

So men started to flock on how she was the perfect housewife, one of the show me the money rappers who went in and out of jail even had a song about fantasizing about her. She received MANY MANY MANY misogynistic messages. Now fast forward a couple of years later Irene reading a feminist book, every male burning her posters and merch (literally).

 

 

So when people say things that a woman is hired to be just pretty. Put in your mind that when a woman talks she's often rejected or worse and receives backlash from the public but also her peers.

I never knew that about her. The backlash makes a lot more sense in context what the hell is wrong with people. Drag her for being a raging jerk who's abusive to those who work for her and not being able to sing AND hating on some of her group's best songs, not for that.

Exactly why things like YG stating the entire purpose of Black Pink to be a "pretty" group like SNSD(when they're successful for their superhuman talent and not visuals) is insane to me. As somebody from a different place in the world I have a hard time understanding how people are even allowed to just say these things in public and keep their careers. 

 

Hopefully chasing fans in countries where this isn't acceptable can press these companies and the people who work for them to do better.
