The jacket photoshoot was really creepy and infantalized them. The album cover is their fingers all with paint ("sublety") and the jacket photoshoot has them all shirtless with baby eyes and puckered lips... its pretty creepy if you look it up

Controversial take and I know I'm going to get quoted out the ass for this, but kpop is largely targeted to towards teenagers and the romantic/sexual appeal of idols has always played an enormous role in marketing to groups with younger demos. As long as the idols themselves aren't the ones in creative control, there's always going to be a questionable songwriter or creative director who has to come up with the specific ways in which that kind of marketing is carried out. Most of somebody like Min Heejin's concepts toe the line of plausible deniability and are marketed to other children(unlike certain notorious uncle fan groups like Twice) so the harm is minimized.

 

This is a complete contrast to people like known pedophile Yang Hyunsuk and his long, documented obsession with pre-pubescent girls going as far as having cameras installed in a little girl's shower.

 

 

Even without the critical thinking there's an ENORMOUS difference in intent and grossness between this(which is still awful and the worst photoshoot my favs ever did on every level)

 

and this(or the time JYP called Hyuna sexy when she was a primary school student)

JYP been weird having the underage Min and Wonder Girls at R Kelly's house once upon a time, as well as how he talked about the girls in Sixteen. Plus his strange obsession with always making the maknae of his GGs the visual 

 

Big yikes to whatever is going at YG, the ethics within that company have been the pits for awhile now    

 

Insane how they let dozens of talented trainees waste several years training with them and eventually leave only to focus on exploiting these children instead  why are there even cameras in the tub/shower?!
