doesn’t change the fact that most of so called „rappers” in kpop sound bad, even more so when they are supposed to do it live  maybe the Pinks don’t write their lyrics but they can deliver it and sell their concept amazingly, same cannot be said about every group and that’s basically why they are the top girl group in the world

BP's first week numbers are embarrassingly low, no matter the "cost" as BP fans like to blame. With the hype and their supposed popularity in the west, I really was expecting like 250k (with a steep drop as per usual with Kpop but still).

Tell that to miss Moonbyul or Exy's face and they'll punch you these 2 wrote and composed their entire raps section catalog. Hence Why they are the female with the most credits in their generations far more than plenty of some men who are "self producing"

Kpop fans will forgo their rent or sell their parents kidney's for chart achievements (Especially blinks and army) so I'm not convinced it's solely based on price If the albums were $200 sure but it was $50 as a large box album not some jewel case CD.

 

BP really only dominates when they have a comeback. Otherwise, their baseline is not much higher than TWICE.

 

BTS is still much larger than any other group, underperforming solos or not.

yeah with the pricey tour tickets, fanbase angry because of no promo and 8 tracks again, album 50$ but 25$ directly from Korea  I would never spend such amount on the regular version of an album and I also bought it from the kpop shop, not official retailer in my country

 

I love BP but I won’t let YG scam me on the 8 tracks album, they earned their share, I got the tour tickets and that’s it

I bet there are tons people thinking the same way, not to mention casual listeners

Yall need to stop this when the album was sold for 4.99 and had 10 dollar digipacks.
