as one of JISUS' #1 stans on KTRL and one of the realest members here  I have to say that while I'm obviously super excited I'm also a little worried about her solo

 

1. First of all she said this last year:

 

 

she has been working on bp and touring since then so I wonder if her solo news isn't rushed because of the fans demanding it (that even made the local headlines)

 

2. while jisus has one of my fav voices in kpop (I became a stan because of it), she has a very peculiar voice that can sound really rich and warm on the right song but can also sound pretty bad on songs that don't fit her tone

 

3. while jisus is very popular in korea for her visuals and brand campaigns, she gets hate for her voice not being high and feminine enough, so I don't see it doing well domestically unless the song is good.

 

I'm just worried she'll get some rushed bp reject that doesn't fit her voice when she should be the one to release something more unique and experimental.

Neither are great singers but Jisoo gets out of breath even when she’s just standing there doing nothing. How is she gonna sing a full song? At least the weaker singers of  BTS have a little bit of stamina

Irene didn’t fell off because she’s too old she just got a scandal and never recovered from it. Taeyeon is like 35 and she still huge same goes to Yoona. The “youthful” idols usually drop in popularity after pass 25 but not the Irene types.

I would give anything to save the SNSD girlies from the acting curse.

 

The thing is that Jisoo just doesn't have any edge. She's... pretty, cute, nice, pleasant. She's like IU but without the talent. She's better off doing dramas than doing solo music.
