She’s an ex-SM creative director. She was in charge of EXO, girls generation, Shinee, fx and redvelvet’s concept  until 2019. Think concepts like 4walls, pink tape, perfect velvet, monster, I got a boy, the boys, Sherlock etc. Except she still needed to answer to SM’sBoard of Directors wanted her to incorporate more Kwangwa **** which she had no interest in so she never had full freedom.

 

Hybe poached her in 2019 and gave her that full creative freedom. So now she has her own company Ador and doesn’t need to answer to anyone anymore. Hybe just lets her do what she wants & gives her money.

I think something like Shinigami Eyes or Player of Games from Grimes would work for Aespa. Both chillish but still. Kill vs. Maim would work really well for them also. They need to hit up Grimes for their sound tbh. SM needs to retire YYJ

and I really agree about Grimes' style, it really suits aespa, like both Art Angles and Miss Anthropocene albums can fit aespa's sound
