That was my biggest concern for her, because didn’t she injure her hip? I know she shattered a cheek bone but can’t remember anything beyond that. That first concert they did after her return eased my mind though. She truly popped off on Psycho.

Yeah Dispatch released the details. She cracked her pelvis/hip bone, cheek bone and was so bruised and swollen on other parts of her body that the doctors couldn't fully diagnose all her injuries at first. She was seriously injured.

 

I still think she was recovering for much of 2021 personally. It would also explain why they went with a ballad concept for her solo, so no dancing was really involved. By the time of Queendom, she seemed to be largely recovered though and by Step Back, she was definitely popping off.

 

I'd like to see her do a pop concept with choreo for her solo comeback though.

aespa are not meant for stages and that's okay! They are meant for the recording booth anyways with their heavenly vocals!
