There’s no Taeyeon’s high note moment on SOI hence the main reason why the song is fhlopping I fear

GOT mini was so boring. A two weeks rollout for this... 

 

Stamp On It has some catchy parts ("Baby, baby, baby" and "D-days are coming") but it's still very mid overall. At least Step Back was a grower and a banger. The music video was pretty gowns, beautiful gowns too.

 

Rose and MALA are...okay? But I don't see myself using them by next week.

 

It's frustrating because this super group is incredible and they keep getting these NCT/aespa rejects. Bring back the old SM. 

Had they instead added Joy to the mix, it would've been better for them

Some of the tracks skate a lil' too close to HYO style noise, but overall it's not bad at all. Alter Ego, MALA and Rose are great.

 

Idk why SM put a dance break in nearly every song though, when we know they're unlikely to ever perform these B-sides
