a lot of viral moments in it too, I can see it elevating the song to listeners, not surprised it has 4.5M views already tbh

I see this actually coming to smash. It strikes the balance between catchy pop and vibey/chill that is really popular rn. The lyrics also feel personal to her while still relatable, and it’s the perfect angle to restore her public image.
 

The edgy rock sound was a serve but the GP did not respond to it at all. This isn’t a total departure from that, but her voice is smoothed out a bit and I could really see this being a pop and AC crossover radio hit.  
 

The video is also great - she managed to serve SEX while still making it feel like a positive, empowerment statement. I fear she’s truly coming for blood this time

The production is nice (I don’t think it’s lacking any punch, personally. It’s not that kind of song) and her vocals are so smooth. Lyrically this really speaks to me as well. This is going to be my comfort song for the coming months I think. This has got me VERY hyped for the album. 

The way it starts off silent for the first few seconds then goes into them sultry kind of vocals just does it for me

to be honest I wasn't happy at first because I was living up to the Midnight Sky expectations, but it's growing now. it's such a clean cute and effortlessly beautiful song, definetely gonna listen to this often

Love this  Post chorus is the best part, with the Bruno sample being questionable, but whatever.

 

ATRL trying to critique this for being 'bland' when all it takes for this forum to be impressed is Ava Max choking and gargling over a dumpster fried synth (made in a German motel).  This forum has laughed at her for 10 years that she's a huge panned has-been and the second she tries to go for success in a redeemable way, it's still criticized.
