  1. I won't be thinking or speaking about anything else for the next week tbh. She ******* ate this so hard. She looks so c*nt in the video, and the choreo is fun. The song is GREAT.
  2. Do we know who the cowriters/producers are? For this and the album as a whole?
  3. Capitol is really putting in the work with marketing. She's been showing up more on my feed, been booking a lot of interviews/articles with big publications/influencers, and this song really seems to be sticking. She feels primed to be the next internet it girl
  4. I'm not kidding when I say this song is what made me realize I needed to break up with my ex. It will be remembered as a classic of this decade and a career high. It is so good
  5. I need to inject the prechorus into my veins. Lara and Sophia ate down. people hate and call this brain rot music, but I could easily imagine a latin artist delivering on this, too. It's just bc it's Katseye that there's immediate skepticism
  6. Didn't have Tame Impala becoming a MPB radio darling on my 2026 bingo card lol. Im a huge fan of him, but I thought Dracula was a fluke. His prior attempts at pop hits (with Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa) never gained much traction. It's so interesting that it's all aligning for him now
  7. Glad they're finally addressing the Manon situation at least in some capacity. the girls look GOOD. They are the whole package and so talented. Imagine the global collapse and domination that will happen when they release a good song
  8. This. Considering that Max and Shellback's fees to simply book them for studio time are (or at least were) very high, it seems reasonable that their publishing rights to the music itself may be more limited, especially for bigger artists. Otherwise, there wouldn't have been much financial incentive to work with them at all, even if they make hits.
  9. The cover is a collapse. Hope the music is good too
  10. The song is gorgeous. The gheys are just pressed that she didn't lead with a cunty bop for pride month. Her sound has really matured with the last era and the start of this one.
  11. I remember the fumes on here about whether everyday or greedy would be the next single after StS. Feels like a lifetime ago now (greedy could have been the disco opus fan favorite in her discog if it had been released in 2019… just imagine)
  12. The way this comparison NEVER would have occurred to me… touch some grass or get a job or something
  13. I'm confused. Drop Dead underperformed? Didn't it debut at #1 in the US, and isn't it still holding pretty steady on streaming? the vogue UK description for this one sounds exciting. Hopefully it's a little catchier than Drop Dead
  14. I love the group name. Not sure why yall are so against it. I wasn't keeping up with the show to speak on who they picked as the 4th member, but the age difference between her and the other three is a bit of a mess. tbh the whole thing feels a little messy. They have an uphill battle with being the sloppy seconds from Katseye, Samara's political views, and now this. Curious to see what direction their sound and visuals go tho
  15. We won. Scandinavians just KNOW pop music
  16. I was initially lukewarm, but the music video REALLY warmed me up to the song. Happy for her that it's doing so well.
  17. Yes ILYA, yes hits. Eternal Sunshine was one of the best produced pop albums in recent memory, and the production had ILYA written all over it. I hope she sings with her full voice this time around, though. Eternal Sunshine was beautiful, but the reserved, airy tone wasn't my favorite artistic choice of hers. I do find it curious that Max wasn't mentioned at all or listed as exec producer after being such a prominent collaborator of hers for so long. I bet/hope he still has some involvement though. Love the cover and the title. Perched.
  18. Max Martin's impact Part of this is just cultural cycling. I think the 2010-ish recession pop era is emerging as the next nostalgia trend, and this song fits comfortably in that overproduced EDM-pop sound.
  19. I'm so proud of her. I just saw her live last week and it was such a fun concert. It was a theater venue and probably the last time she'll ever be in a venue that small. She has such a genuine charm about her that this era/aesthetic/music really showcases. I support their plan to issue a deluxe and stretch out the era. Since part of the virality and zeitgeist has been bc of that, it'd be a waste to move on from it when there's still plenty of public traction
  20. It's crazy how much coverage this random ass interview has gotten lol. I think his words got taken out of context. I s2g if this affects the Dune 3 rollout…
  21. Bruno is one of the most talented performers of our generation. Powerhouse voice, endless charisma, astounding ear for hooks. And he continues to waste all of that on derivative retro pastiche… this album is (imo) an artistic step backwards. It's flawlessly executed, pleasant and often quite fun to listen to, but there is no effort to innovate sonically and it lyrically never reaches past cliche. The best retro-leaning music offers some sort of contemporary spin, but every musical idea presented here is borrowed. He's obviously under no commercial pressure to innovate, but I can't help but be disappointed by this record. Playing it safe simply isn't interesting.
  22. Wait what happened???
  23. Danny co-produced radical optimism with tame impala. She might've already been working on that project
  24. He's so pretty with such a pretty voice. Why are he and his team so aesthetically inept? That cover is… something
