i just realised they did the outro that way because it’s the final track of the soundtrack

I really do not understand the overwhelming negative reaction to the outro. That part of the song didn't even register as that "unusual" to me, if anything, I thought it was beautiful and gave the song something that sets it apart from other ballads in Rih's catalogue :lakitu:

I prefer this over Lift Me Up by, like, a lot.

I just know y'all taste in music is really basic, when the outro is the most interesting part of the song....

Really impressive debut for an OST track :clap3: would’ve done even better if she had posted about it maybe

- LMU rises to #30 (+4) today

I'm sorry... But this was the LEAD SINGLE. And after debuting at #200 it jumped to #113 with less than 950K. spacer.png

That doesn't mean she isn't doing amazing with Renaissance.

OST are simply not an indicator.

So stop trying to bring the drama.

Rihanna didn't even post about the song at all

Beyoncé wasn't coming from a 6 years comeback hype and didn't benefit from a #1 placement on NMF and #5 on TTH :cm:

And Yes, her new music flopping doesn't mean R9 will :cm:

This is a friendly reminder for the Navy who spent years and years stating that people are so hungry that even Rihanna fart would smash the charts :cm:

Beyoncés was coming from a “3 year comeback” since Lemonade was in 2016, no?

Correct.

If anything it is non-Navy who mostly exaggerated what a Rihanna return would do. But regardless, the actual single for the soundtrack, which was divisive, debuted T10 globally and #2 in the US so clearly that was true. :skull:

this songs is AMAZING. definitely worth the wait. I already overplayed LMU bc i actually really liked it + i missed her voice and it sounded amazing in it but this one is the real deal. The fu**ing OUTRO???? :jonny5::wanda:like someone said in here, 100% serving rated r.

I don't think this will do numbers tho bc it's a soundtrack song and was overshadowed by the previously released song but who cares? it's a great song :duca::flame: and another one that will cross 100M streams for ha.

Oh my god, guys. We don't need Hive vs. Navy - this isn't 2006. Both women are also in very different places in their careers, let's relax.

OT: Surprised this didn't debut much higher, but I think LMU kind of took the wind out of everyone's sails a bit. Perched for whatever mother releases around Super Bowl (which will be EPIC - I just know it).

as if Lift Me Up didn’t debut with 9M streams on Spotify just 2 weeks ago

& folks asked for an album from Rihanna not a single for a soundtrack :lmao:

This is better than Lift Me Up, and it’s performing like most soundtrack singles do so whatever.

So you expected more from a song added to the BSO that she never mentioned ?

It passed the million. I didn't expect that.
