Honestly, they sound nothing alike.  Lol. 
 

Not vocally (singing), not rapping (tone wise), not lyrically either.  I’d say she’s inspired by her aesthetically for sure…but that’s about it.   When you REALLY think about it.  
 

Even their animated raps aren’t really that similar either.  Inspired, but not a clone.  And I say that as a fan of Nicki too.

Shes an upgraded Rihanna imo. Amazingly unique singing tone, capable vocalist, spits her own bars, the best stage performer in the mainstream at the big leagues level of success since Beyoncé, has crazy unique visuals and budget.

It’s actually her slower songs that grabbed my attention initially years ago.

She talented and has that Rihanna effect in music.

Let's see: she can rap, she can sing, she can write, she can perform, she's gorgeous, she's stylistically versatile and adventurous, she has songs that cover a range of emotions, she has the "it" factor. The list goes on.
