It's been over 12 years since the sophisti-pop legends released their last album. Will we ever get their 7th masterpiece, or are they retired for good?

It was confirmed a couple of years ago that a new album was being recorded, so we will probably get it sometime in the next two decades

 

Enya and Rih teas, such long breaks 

 

 

Hopefully, Soldier of Love is timeless excellence

She better.  I still haven’t seen her live yet.  
 

But honestly, she’s getting too old now at this point.  So, realistically, prob no.

Rihanna: 8 albums in 17 years

Sade: 6 albums in 38 years

 

She doesn't need to with classic like.

 

but if she does I know it will slay just as much as

In 3-5 years, she will return however just as she came she will leave and we will have to wait 6 to 20 years for the next album or ep

I feel like the band went out on a high and that last tour was phenomenal. If there is another album, I hope it’s as good as the rest. There is no bad Sade album. My favorite is Diamond Life.

I really hope so, they have a lot of classics.

I love Sade. Their music has gotten me through tough times. I hope we get a new album soon even if it’s their last.

Why would they? I thought they retired. But if they do, I know it’ll be top tier. I need another Pearl

I was fortunate to go to the Soldier of Love tour, it was SO good. Miss her voice, hope they release something someday. 

Their recent albums box set being titled ‘This Far’ kind of hinted they’re planning to make a comeback.

 

Their discography is FLAWLESS though, so even if they never record an album again, their catalogue remains legendary

I want a traditional Sade album.  But I also want an EP collab project with her doing soulful house kinda stuff (think Kaytranada).  All of his remixes of Sade songs are ??

maybe in 2024 for the 40th anniversary of Diamond Life ?

Sade is trying to recreate another masterpiece that is "Why Can't We Live Together" as we speak, give them time bestie

Seems like they were supposed to make their decade-long comeback in 2020 but obviously COVID happened. They started working on the album as of 2018, but who knows when it'll be released now.
