  1. I was in one for 10 years. Unfortunately, it all went to **** in the last few months for a number of reasons, but I still consider it the happiest and most loving time of my life, I would never want to do it any other way and never will.
  2. The radio edit clears! I think Kylie really adds a sense of warmth to the track, which enhances the loving, positive vibe of the original song. Their vocals blend into each other so well in the final chorus, too Imma need my senior gays to go all out and make this a hit
  3. A very important day in pop history. ATRL logo when?
  4. I fear the critics are right this time, after three listens I still feel the album is just fine, like Ariana is on autopilot I have to give it to her that there are no bad songs on the album, but there's nothing in particular that would make me want to re-listen either, other than the fact that I know there's a new Ariana Grande album out, if that makes sense htimylm, oh well, and bad thing (bunny hop) are lowkey the highlights
  5. Shakira's Zootopia been real quiet since the news dropped
  6. Madonna kinda excluded herself from this mess by sending in a pre-recorded video instead Her mind I'm not convinced we'll ever get a halftime show again
  7. Well at least all performances felt equally off
  8. She should've released this in time for Pride month, but better late than never I guess Superbloom still my AOTY
  9. Really looking forward to the album, I enjoyed the EPs but to me they were kinda mixed and felt like they were just toying with different ideas, trying to perfect their vibe and sound I hope the album will have more of a confident vision, Take Me to Sunrise is a great start
  10. I have to agree, she's lowkey like Meghan Trainor in that regard. Like, some bigger artists can get away with far worse musical outputs and shenanigans. I'm not saying Lizzo is among the best musicians out there, but the vitriol she gets is wayyy exaggerated
  11. Unpopular opinion but I think Coven was the start of the downfall of AHS, and I hate that it's the one they bring back I've got some vague memories of Evan Peters playing that lobotomized character and wailing through the season, Kathy Bates' head singing on a shelf, Gabourey shagging that taurus monster, Patti LuPone doing whatever… it was a fever dream
  12. We need this gif with her face actually
  13. I'd lowkey swap Love Sensation and School in the tracklist, the latter is one of my faves, but it's such an abrupt change jumping from that straight into the mellow songs. Love Sensation is also a bop, but it's got some very heartfelt tones in the verses which would make it a nice moment of transition imo. And School would absolutely pop off sandwiched between Everything and Love Without Words.
  14. I can't explain it but I feel like Everything and Incredible are sister songs spiritually
  15. Wait, I just realized the instrumentals on iTunes also include the original album. And it's only €3 in my country, charitable queen
  16. My copy sounds great but I did have to give it a good cleaning beforehand
  17. God knows I'm a Confession II stan, but don't try to convince me Sabrina wasn't invited on that song for numbers
  18. I really appreciated the ambition and the fearlessness of Madame X, but the execution kinda fell apart. Confessions II is less risky but still feels fresh, so it kinda proves there's still plenty to explore in what she does best.
  19. This is so lush, I love it I've been really missing this side of hers
  20. I was lowkey devastated on my first listen lol but then it really clicked after 2-3 spins. Go shut the blinds, pour yourself a drink and dance
  21. Due to the continuous mix it feels really hard to break the flow, but I find myself going back to these the most so I guess they're my top 5 for now: I Feel So Free One Step Away Danceteria Love Without Words Fragile
  22. After spending the entire weekend with the album, it really is her most focused body of work since 2008 and the most worthy to join the Madonna canon since the OG Confessions With that said, I'm still a bit pressed she named it Confessions II because I'm not feeling much of a resemblance bar a few tracks. If I really had to compare it to her past works then it's much more reminiscent of her '90s output (especially the last few tracks), but it feels fairest to treat it as a unique and standalone chapter The only tracks I'm not feeling are Read My Lips and Bizarre (unpopular opinion, I know) The former sticks out like a sore thumb, while the latter sounds very dated compared to the rest of the album imo, and not in a nostalgic but in a '2010s-EDM-collab-unearthed' way, I'm not really getting all the praise for it Everything is also a bit of a nothing burger, but at least the 'I don't f*** with it' bits manage to make it fun I Feel So Free still sound as fresh as it did day one, One Step Away, Love Without Words, and Fragile floored me, School is deliciously bonkers Overall I'm really happy with the album, welcome back mother
  23. It's kind of a nothing burger, but it's nice to hear her on a different type of song for a change It's giving major Indie Kylie vibes
