Do you guys think will get the album this year ? Or shall we expect a longer wait ala Rihanna 2012-2016 wait time?

 

im kind of mixed, after hearing the rumours of her working with Nile Rodgers I thought it’d for sure be this year, but I’m not so sure anymore.

She said she hasn't even started working on it like a month ago. Second half of 2023 it is.

She was constantly working from 2014 to 2020.

 

I don't really get why her fans are pressuring her to release, let her rest and come back better and more inspired.
It hasn't even been that long since her last album, most major acts have had 4 year breaks before.

They're spoilt! Not at the levels of another fanbase who's been panicking bc no new album after 8 months but still

 

Probably coming next year together with an image rebrand.

she said she hasn't even started working on album album because of wicked auditions. now that she's going to start actually filming wicked i doubt she'll be more inclined to work on music 

I’d rather her take more time with it, instead of rushing it, then getting an album like Positions again

This confused me tho, yall reckon the Nile collab was scrapped?

can’t imagine we are getting a project before Wicked and i think it would be a good idea for her to take the time off tbh

Ok fair but our fave is releasing re-records  her last proper album was 2020. 

Highly doubt it, I don't think her current focus is her music.

I rather her wait until the second half of 2023. Let us miss you a bit.

It’s definitely gonna be a new phase in her career.

OT: No. She was over saturated til literally the middle of last year. Let her work on her acting and break and let her come back fall of 2023.

I’d rather wait a few years than get another positions 

ill be greatful if we get it before 2024

at the very least we'll get the Wicked OST 

Its coming either mid 2023 or by the end of that year. 

Her focus is def on her make up and wicked. I was just thinking I’d love an album and not saying positions was bad by any means, but you can tell she’s happy right now not doing music. If she comes back in mid or late 2023 I’d be fine with that. There will be tons of music from others to hold us over.

The song with Nile was most likely for John Legend's album, the sound isn't very Ariana, I didn't imagine it like that when Nile teased it but oh well

No, 2023 maybe. 

I don't see it coming anytime soon. She said quite recently she hasn't even begun working on a new album and don't see how she would be inspired to put something together so quickly.

i hope not, she needs to take a break, spring 2023 should be the earliest
