the OP being pressed over doja cat as per usual (while being an olivia rodrigo stan lmfao!) with nothing to do evidently. 

OT: Doja's hits connect with the GP on multiple levels. Also, radio is the main platform that RCA actually focuses on which is why all her songs do relatively well despite their streaming peaks being months ahead from radio.

Multiple songs of her started smashing on tik tok when album released. It even actually hurt the actual radio single Your Right at that time, radio is just late catching up to what already smashed a year ago. 

Doja's streaming and radio peaks are never aligned. Woman and GIIY were massive on tiktok and Spotify last year when they weren't even impacting radio. It helps her longevity on the charts but if anything, her peaks have been hurt when radio jumps onboard well after the song has peaked on streaming and other metrics.

The failed attempt

US charts are weird. All those Doja songs were very steady on the streaming chart for months despite the low peak, while radio kicked in every slowly and ended up making them peak high.

Idk I don’t like the radio boosting numbers so high but hey. She’s winning *******.
