As we know, Cardi B’s new single didn’t exactly make the most noise on the charts. This was a surprise to many people as Cardi was following up to mega smashes like WAP and Up. 

 

What went wrong? What could Cardi have done differently? Do you see Hot Sh*t making a BBH100 revival?

the song is awful

The song is atrocious. 

She's the Queen of Rap and she can afford to flop. With dignity unlike others. 

i feel like she’s in the same dilemma that Nicki Minaj went through during her second album. Trying to keep her street cred as a legitimate rapper and not just a pop star, so she drops super left field hard rap tracks that don’t necessarily align with the fun and bubbly image that her last singles served. 

The song is mid.

It’s a bad song.  Also doesn’t help that she’s still talking about the same **** since her career took off.  Your entire life has changed and yet you have nothing new to say about anything.

Terrible song & artist. This woman has absolutely no talent & the GP has finally dropped her in the trash where she belongs

Everyone flips at some point. Not really a big deal or thread worthy and I don’t even like her. 
 

theres plenty of other things to drag her for but this isn’t really one of them.

Idk but the song title matches the song quality.

 

Bad song, bad "artist", rehash of the 20 other songs she has, no talent, no appeal, etc.
