Wait it’s tomorrow made no noise  The only relevant is Megan, but that’s not enough. The lack of pop stars wow, these artists are making cute singles then no one remembers them the next day.

How is Travis Scott insurable for live performances with so many wrongful death and injury lawsuits pending? This feels like a reward for Astroworld and it emboldens him to feel invincible. It’s bullshit.

Not y'all saying there isn't star power anymore. There is. Harry, Justin, Taylor, Adele, Ariana, The Weeknd, Gaga, they didn't stop existing  It's true that they're on the older side, usually there is more star power of young pop stars late teens/early twenties. I think Justin and Harry are the youngest of the bunch I named at 28 and Ariana is either 28 or 29, but they're still active and doing numbers, they're just not bothering to attend award shows like the BBMAs 

 

Billie and Doja feel like superstars and they're both fairly fresh in the scene. Megan, Dua, and Olivia are on their way there as well. I think Miley can recover, still, and I would love to see Lizzo get to that status as well. Sadly it feels like people like Post, Shawn, Selena, Demi, Katy, the Jonas Brothers, Ed, etc did lose a lot of their appeal prematurely. Drake is huge but he's not really a popstar. Bey and Rihanna are not really doing a lot right now or they would be contenders as well. I enjoy Silk Sonic idk, I think they're fun.

 

I think there's definitely a lack of fresh faces and it's true that some people lose their star power way too fast but it's not that there's no superstars anymore  that's just dramatic.

Wait you’re right  This is the ONE Awards show where big artists’ presence is almost mandatory when the awards are being given away or else you just get a bunch of acceptances on their behalf
