hmm i’ve been listening to this a lot and i still don’t know if i love it

it’s weak compared to any track from SAWAYAMA (one of my fave albums) so idk

This is a cute, fun bop and it'll go off live, but it doesn't have that much replay value for me :monkey:

Is it me or the song lacks energy in the live setting?

also where’s the music video :grump:

she seems too focus on choreo which she nailed it but lack energy on every other aspects.

Glow indeed :johnald:

The ''thishellisbetterwithyou'' line before the drop is so.. :toofunny3:

I was sorta upset the bvs drowned her out during the choruses, but based on how she was sounding when we COULD hear her live vocals ... I'm not so mad.

Tv performances never suit her at all, nor do I feel like she's great at something from the very beginning. Her tour and repetition/rehearsal are when she shines tbqh

Anyway, Hoping for a Dua x Rina, Love Again in This Hell collab with that line dancing

im so obsessed

rina is never a miss for me. i love the choreo

Having it on repeat this morning, loving the energy and the lyrics :intoit2:

There's something really off about this

Like it's not well mixed or something

I don't like her music in general but this is her worst single

Its missing some sort of punch. A very rough song, not sure why this is her lead

Oh I think it's mixed very nicely; you can hear everything and it all sounds really nice together. I don't get that comment, personally.

I'm not a fan of this.

I still preordered the record, but this is not serving what it needs to.  I would love for her to return to her Y2K pop/r&b sound from RINA and parts of SAWAYAMA, not this off Gaga cosplay.

don't know if it is the mixing or just the production but yeah, it sounds very unpleasant

Agreed tbh, RINA is her best work to date

I love the key changes but I have no urge to really listen to the song more than a few times

the user who said the quality of her music is an a downward trajectory is right, the EP was leagues above this and Sawayama. but the bandwagon stans who only started stanning during Sawayama aren't ready for that conversation

Can someone please explain what key change is to someone who knows nothing about music theory

the verses and the chorus are in different keys, idk as a musician it's obvious to my ear but maybe you can still hear that they sound different

Yikes, this is a cringe-fest. Such a shame coming for her. From what I've heard, she's planning to go in a more woke direction for the next album, which is validated by this corny mess. Hopefully it'll just flop into oblivion so she can change course in time back to the more edgy work.
