This is stunning

I love this album.  I've listened through three times already. It's a beautiful journey.

This album is a true masterpiece. I listened to it all weekend.

My top 3: 
1) Unconditional II (Race and religion): I love all of Régine's songs, this will remain one of my favorites of her (In the Backseat is still #1 ).
2) Lightning II:  I loved since it was released. It reminds me of The Suburbs. Good choice as lead single. 
3) Age of anxiety II (Rabbit hole): didn't catch my attention at first, but then I had it on repeat thanks to the Coachella performance.

It's definitely good and more consistent than Everything now which had some big duds on it.

But the highs of this kinda don't compare with Everything Now... I mean there is no song as good as Put Your Money on Me or let alone We Don't Deserve Love on this one.

Was pretty good on first listen (much better than Mess Now). 

The album's really good, it probably won't be my favourite by them though. I miss some catchier songs on this tbh, no one does catchy like Arcade Fire 

It's been nearly a decade since Reflektor and I'm relieved to say they still haven't lost it. WE is a great addition to my 2022 listening log. Good album.

 

The Lightning I & II should have been one song

I absolutely adore this. It's such a grower even though I already liked it from the start

I combined them into one song in FL Studio and imported it into my iTunes like that. Listening to them as individual songs on random didn't work for me at all. 

I feel bad saying this but this kind of came and went for me  I'll relisten soon, but idk I think they pretty much peaked with The Suburbs and Reflektor
