The first time I heard it I instantly thought of Teenage Dream and We R Who We R. It took me back in time to that feeling of listening to an electropop song in the summer of 2010. It sounds like that specific year in the best possible way, so I'm not surprised by them saying this.

Fantastic album. I'm surprised a lot of people still don't get how much her albums creep up on you after time passes, and this is going to be no exception. For now crystalize is a standout in her catalogue.

Hard Candy will always have a special place in my heart... I was 12 when it came out and it was the first Madonna album I ever bought after being obsessed with the ubiquity of 4 Minutes on the radio and MTV channels. I still remember the first play and being entranced by the Candy Shop beat and being blown away by Incredible (which is still one of her most unique songs imo despite its negative reputation ). I had nevr heard anything like it! It will always be a top tier Madonna album for me
