aespa faced BTS before, Butter and Next Level came out in the same week. And NL eventually dethroned Butter from #1.

Yeah, but major groups get 1 month of announcement/pre-orders. If Kep1er are coming June 20th and Nayeon is coming June 24th (announced over a week ago), it’s too late to have a June comeback announced for a major group.

 

If anything, we might get Aespa’s Japanese debut announced for late June.

So they want NMIXX to pull LE SSERAFIM\aespa numbers with their debut? I wish them...an ounce of luck. 

 

Edit: Nevermind I read wrong  Either way 4 comebacks isn't a good idea imo. They learned nothing from Mina & Jeongyeon's hiatuses I guess.

For a competent company, yes. SM girl group pre-order periods have always been 2 or 3 weeks in recent times. So a June comeback is still possible if it is announced this week.

 

(aespa got 3 weeks for Savage, RV has varied between 2.5 weeks and sometimes even 10 days )

Yeah JYP trying to discourage the other members from debuting solo by choosing that messy title track for Nayeon. It would flop and then no more solo music projects for the rest of the members. If Nayeon can't snatch a hit, who else can? I would be surprised if it actually becomes a hit tho

yeah and idk she's the one getting the super high notes in their songs and covers and they've been performing so much with heavy choreography, i'm no expert but that can't be healthy for the long run

the Nayeon song sounding like something Somi would debut with  that's not the pop song we were waiting for...

It's his new TWICE, He is gonna milk them hard if he can, 4 comebacks and 100 fan meets per comeback so the albums sell decently I remember how Twice released KK/Signal/Likey/OneMoreTime/HS/Candy pop in less than a year and WIL was released in ***** april Like these girls must be dying to take a LONG ASS Vacation

I remember the summer this came out, it felt like every girl group summer release was lacking. Even Sistar was unsure of shake it. Look at how big of a hit it's become.

Let me dream damn it  Sana has got sex appeal, Momo can dance her ass off, and Mina's got a weak but pretty voice. None of the women I listed were amazing at everything, they had a special skill and worked at it. I have hope for the girls.
