I'm so nostalgic of the Revival era and when I was listening to Selena's album again to celebrate the release of ISILYF I thought Revival would be my favorite but I feel like listening to Rare was better because of what you said basically. Plus I really like all three of the deluxe tracks so it feels like a really solid album for me. Still love Revival thought it has great greats.

VMA noms in about two months and while I don't expect anything, I hope they get some technicals because Younger & Hotter than Me's cinematography is really good. And Sunset Blvd and its art direction. 

Honestly, this era could have been handled better but I'm just glad that it seems to have reignited her desire to make music, even if only with Benny. It isn't my personal preference, but there were times very recently where I didn't think we would ever get another musical project from her. Anyways, I keep spamming "Bluest Flame" at the local gay bars until it's a hit

I've listened to "Every Single Album" episode of ISILYF, despite comments from people saying their takes are awful and that they lean too much on Taylor Swift.

That woman is a plain hater. Her saying they were using GloRilla in an "uncredited" manner was just the cherry on top of her hatred. How on earth would they have used it without clearance? Also, the remix on the deluxe album later proved they would never do what she was implying: use a Black woman's voice and narrative on sexuality and not credit her for it.

Miley shouldn't have gone on that podcast so I would still be unaware of their existence. The guy is fine, though. However, they should have just not uploaded that because the woman was not kind at all.

 

Honestly I'm tired of the "she has streams because of the Bieber hype". It's so sexist, as if Selena can't be credited for the success of her own songs. Male artists make songs about women (their lovers, ex lovers) and people don't attribute their success to the women who inspired the song.
