Shakira & Burna Boy - "Dai Dai" (2026 FIFA World Cup)
I'm glad that she's smashing again!!! She deserves the greatest things in the world...

Beyoncé - "MORNING DEW (DONK)"
The new hook is amazing... the demo interpolation is very poor and cuts the melodic chain of the song...
-
Katy Perry - "Watch It Burn"
I believe in this song... It got stuck in my head the day after I first listened to it... If she pushes It will come through
-
Becky G - "EPA"
I think Selena is on another song because in the video of her asking people from her label, they would say a name that is blipped is their favorite... and she didn't blip EPA when they said it... So, the label people know where the business is.
- Anitta & Shakira - "Choka Choka"

Nicki's Beez In The Trap going viral following TikTok Trend
🤣🤣🤣 This is so ******* true She's been so unlikable since the pandemic (except when she released Beam Me Up Scotty) However, her talent always comes through the mess she creates

Mariah Carey - 'Here For It All'
I love Mi. I anything it should've been pushed as a single. Maybe it could've reached the kids. It's very fun.

Doja Cat - 'Vie'
This is such an interesting project. I give props to her. Make It Up and Jealous Type are my favorites.

Sam Smith - "To Be Free"
I didn't care for their pop era... and I was unaware of this release until I saw it in the New Music Friday playlist. I like it a lot, and I think the general public will come together for this new sound when the fall comes... They should definitely schedule a late November album release.

Mariah Carey - "Type Dangerous"

Selena Gomez
I've listened to "Every Single Album" episode of ISILYF, despite comments from people saying their takes are awful and that they lean too much on Taylor Swift. That woman is a plain hater. Her saying they were using GloRilla in an "uncredited" manner was just the cherry on top of her hatred. How on earth would they have used it without clearance? Also, the remix on the deluxe album later proved they would never do what she was implying: use a Black woman's voice and narrative on sexuality and not credit her for it. Miley shouldn't have gone on that podcast so I would still be unaware of their existence. The guy is fine, though. However, they should have just not uploaded that because the woman was not kind at all.

Leona Lewis ghosted Toby Gad after hearing "A Year Without Rain"
🤣🤣🤣 It did wonders for Selena vocally. She improved so much while trying to promote it live. I love the George Lopez performance with the spanglish bridge. For Leona, it would be child's play lmao

Julia Michaels - 'Second Self'
There's an aspect of every song that I like, but it's lacking the punch she delivered in "Nervous System." Since she is engaged to a French man, she should try to make an effort to learn a bit of French and immerse herself in French music. She would be inspired by its quirkness. "Try Your Luck" could be a decent-sized summer hit. I hope it takes off. However, it will hit a ceiling, especially because she won't have the financial resources to back up bigger radio rotation or playlisting. I honestly think she should write a sick bridge and ask Selena to jump on it for a remix, or even create a mix with the vocals Selena has already recorded. Julia is shy and probably doesn't want to "bother" her, but I think Selena would do it or allow her to use the vocals in a heartbeat. The song is super cool, and Selena also needs a win. Radio stations would support the remix, and it might gain momentum on streaming. Julia needs a win with this project to jump-start the label.

Leona Lewis ghosted Toby Gad after hearing "A Year Without Rain"
Syco f-ed her over so bad... it did decent numbers for Selena and could've at least did the same for her in the US + it could've performed better in the UK.

Miley "Every Single Album" Interview Megathread
In the context of the whole interview, this doesn't sound at all like oversharing... It was fine... I think some of the potheads around her already have laughed at this... but it didn't work as a joke lol

Miley Cyrus - 'Something Beautiful'
TBH, I've only listened so far to "End of the World" when she released the video. Since she put all those basic press releases on her social media, I simply haven't had a single ounce of willingness to press play on her new music. That stuff threw me off really hard. Yesterday, I heard the "Every Single Album" podcast and really connected again with her persona, and it got me interested in hearing the album. This morning I finally did it, and it's a great body of work. It's the most cohesive one she has done to date. Unfortunately, Dolly was right, and there are no hits on this one. After a couple of months, she should regroup and put new stuff out. Or, if she decides to tour, some of the songs like "Pretend You're God" could become streaming hits.

Jennifer Lopez & David Guetta - "Save Me Tonight"
She's going to compromise her awards campaign for this hot mess?
-
Taylor Swift buys back her masters for $300 million
There was no guarantee that she would be able to close the deal... so it's no scam at all... but haters gonna hate

Megan's new single fails to debut on the Hot 100; #2 on Bubbling Under
She got too brave after that song went no. 1 based on pure clout

Gaga in Rio: Official 2.5 million in attendance, biggest concert by a female artist
She cemented her legend status yesterday and she knows it.

Kelly Clarkson - "Where Have You Been"
I think she's so caught up in the daytime TV, being a mom, living her own life, and juggling all that comes with being a superstar that she doesn't have time anymore to immerse herself into creating music. It's cool that she tried this with Jaco, but it shouldn't be pushed as a single whatsoever. I think she could benefit more from booking a whole week of studio sessions inviting new and familiar collaborators, and diving deep into making music. Get Justin Tranter, Greg Kurstin and someone else in the studio... I'm sure she'll create great stuff.
