I feel like there is less and less to stan her for by the day No music in forever, and i know acting is her "passion" but following an actress is so goddamn boring and they barely have anything of value to say, even in interviews. Make-up also doesn't interest me so it's like what is left other than her flawless discography I overplayed to the moon and back already?

This award season is one of the most exciting thing we have since years. She actually campaign, being everywhere stunning and happy and receiving recognitions.

Speaking about music her songs are receiving some good streams recently like Good For You, Fetish, Lose You To Love Me. If you all want the music be sure to stream her catalogue, at first

I lost the motivation to stream her music when she said she doesn't have new one on the way. Like what is the point? At this point she is a billionaire because of the make-up stuff, and acting is her true love, music will always be an afterthought to her.

And awards are shallow, vapid and ultimately meaningless. I do not have it in myself to care about them. But I get where you are coming from.

And from what I've heard the album is coming in spring.

 

it's the first time i'm more excited about selena's acting career than her music one.

her music is still the one i listen to the most (yep, even without an album since 2020) so i want both, ofc, but i kinda would switch music news to a new casting in a exciting movie or the start of the Linda biopic filming for example. 

this award season gave me life, selena went all out and about, looking gorgeous and fed us with so much!!! 

and even in a huge forced  hate train we see that her name is on absolute high demand, with her catalog streams all climbing! 

 

 

i feel like 2024/2025 is selena's acting version of "revival era". but new music is absolute welcome and i'm glad that she has this close to her heart. 

i want an inspired project, she needs to come back GREAT, artistic. we know very well that she's capable of.

Linda's biopic isn't filming anytime soon. When a movie is close to filming, news about the rest of the cast comes out, and nothing has been announced yet.

 

where is SG3? 

I was so excited for the awards cycle but now I can't wait to be over.

somehow all the hate for Emilia Perez goes directly to Selena like if she was the one responsible for the script, direction,story.
for everything the movie got wrong (a lot of things actually) seems everybody just focus on Selena's Spanish like if it was the worst part of the movie.

 

hopefully it won't win best picture and everyone will forget about the movie immediately.

 
I'm  ready to move on to new projects 

apparently the new Jordan pelee movie will start filming in June and she's part of the cast.

It seems the schedule could be 

- omitb s5(March to may)

- new music (between filming only murders)

- Jordan movie (June)

Selena needs to be aware that supporting immigrants is not popular rn, not just among the right. People really don't care. It shouldn't stop her of trying to help behind the scenes tho. Something she could do is support voluntary return programs and organizations that support the permanence of people already rooted in the country

EP has always had its haters and they have their reasons, but as of last month it has become the target of a strong(and efficient) hate campaign.

I think it'll lose best international movie, never had chances at best picture. Zoe is the only who still have big chances. El mal has some chance but Elton John has never lost.

Yeah It started great and Selena got to socialize with a lot of directors,actors, producers. Went to different festivals, and gave her more exposure as an actress.

I wouldn't mind if Zoe is the only award they win.

 

After seeing the movie I agree with the people that says it got too many nominations, I don't think director,script,best picture was deserved.

im worried about selena...tbh missing the oscars would be the best way to say that she is against the director and the actress. 

 

if she goes....and took pics with her ohhhh, i fear its over for her

the hate train would be bigger than 2018. like jacques and karla are everything selena is against.

Forget the Oscar's…she's nominated for a BAFTA in two weeks. Anyways, EP has doubled in views according to Variety's streaming charts
