She can have both, the problem is her team thinking people will remember "oh this song was #1 on Spotify for 90 days", that's just smth stans brag about, if she had released spanish version the friday the final of the worldcup she would have had a WW hit and another Spanish hit

I don't understand why they aren't replacing the english song for the spanish one in Spanish playlists like Viva Latino, Exitos Mexico, Exitos España.. etc, just for the shake of being #1 on Spotify WW, in 10 years nobody is going to say "this song was "x" on Spotify global" but she can score another hit in Spanish in Spain and Latin American countries like Waka-Waka, because here it was a moderate hit and the spanish version is miles better. Her team is happy for scoring another hit WW but she can score another one in Spanish too, they missed the opportunity cause it was viral (the spanish version) when she teased it, all over TikTok, but oh well.

She is her worst anemy, she was fighting for an Oscar nom just to say she could have acted better and do better, like gurl.. keep it to yourself, you are on the race for a nomination, the lack of self-confidence is what makes her flop in all scenarios. But what I hate the most if how later she says how she cares about Rare Beauty and how important is it to later ruin her reputation with stupid things that will affect Rare Beauty saler. Her engagement is in a new low every month, a hit could bring it back, it's all she needs and a better media management, then would act surprised when things go wrong but will be too late.

Honestly, whatever the debut is, it won't be even bad given the situation. Benny track Announced 2 days ago Selena teasing with a video without saying when the song would be out she just did the tren and ran away wit it One post on release day Honestly, I blame Interscope for not promoting but this is a joke, the TikTok/Reel with the song on it without announcing the release date nor saying anything is like.. How do you expect people to know you have a new song coming out? People will just think you used a cute song in the background and did a trend to show your dress, like this is la the bare basic. Had they started teased a week ago with some cute Selena/Becky pictures and I think this would have had a cute debut for both, Selena and Becky. And this only shows the lack of team Selena had, either they don't care about her anymore or they think she has the same attention she used to have in 2018. Or as some of you said, she wants to ruin her music career to focus on acting, but she doesn't realise how important her music career has been to her overall career, damn even Rare Beauty is thanks to her music, is the only thing that has been holding her name out there. Also, if you have a respected music career, the film industry does take you seriously, the fact that she could have a Grammy right now if they had released an acoustic version of Calm Down. I hate her sometimes because some people would die to have her situation and work hard like Demi, and Selena has the platform and the hypes if she wants to and decides to ignore it, it's like she has forgotten how hard is to get there and is not even grateful anymore. Sorry for the rant lmfao.

Not Viva Latino, I give up, like it's clearly Interscope is not going to invest on her. Becky and her are big enough to score a Viva Latino placement, it's the bare minimun, the main reason I wasn't hyped it's because I knew it was going to be released by Interscope. Had it been Becky's label and it would have had decent playlisting, they are bad with her solo songs but they go in with collabs.
