I thought it was good, it's definetly something new and different among all these movies, but it's not great. I will say, the acclaim will not age that well though, and I'm not saying this as a brazilian because of I'm Still Here, but as a latina who has a lot of contact with other people born and raised in latin american contries who have opinions on a french production telling an mexican story with a lot of non mexicans.

They're keeping it at the top of the conversation. EP is a major best picture contender which is crazy to say.

Guys I have a confession... I kinda like Stars Dance (the album) now. I know I've hated on it for years in this forum but it's kinda great when you take it for what it is (a party dance pop album). I appreciate it for the amount of upbeat songs we got.

 

Lover In Me and I Like it That Way are still horrendous though. Sad Serenade deserved better!

I actually LOVED Emilia Perez. I have seen it 3 times already. I think it's her best cinema project.

But she is out of SAG and Critics Choice. SAG mainly, has the best track records of coinciding with Oscar.
