Unfortunately no acting or music news lately but I saw something on Twitter claiming she was circling the next resident movie set for filming in September 2026. No idea if it's legit. Also Emmys tomorrow.

He just dropped a video.. I don't get Interscope at all.

Wonder if that's what they shot the video with Petra for.

Yeah it's not the strongest year so I'm still hopeful for a nom but her just being part of the conversations is already great. They need to keep picking good projects. I also hope it isn't years before we get another movie. So far it seems like she will go for more supporting roles as she said she's not super comfortable being lead yet. She's really putting in work, campaigning, mingling hopefully it leads to casting news. We'll never hear the end of it if that other girl gets a nom and she doesn't but I'm sure her time will come. Also hoping Zoe wins. Next month we have the THR and IndieWire awards for her then AFI honorees, Golden Globes and Critics Choice noms.

The thing about the biopic is that the current director is super busy and filming 2 movies before it. Unless they change the director it will probably take a while. I hope Aleen is doing her job and showing her interesting things.

I really want casting news. Besides OMITB season 5 there's nothing that we know of for next year. Hopefully the Jordan Peele casting rumor is true. I see how Sydney, Zendaya and Florence are booked and busy I want that for her. Before she had to juggle Rare, music and other projects. Music is definitely taking a back seat for a while so there is time now.

Loving all this positive news related to the film. Her answers in interviews have also been great. No more self deprecating comments.

Reading some of these article about the film and her chance at a supporting nom. So far its looking good. Lets what happens in the next few months. I'd die if she gets a Oscar nom. Also she truly excels when she works with people she's familiar with and believe in her. TIFF next!

I wonder if she’s doing some interviews in Paris in advance. Though I would expect that type of promo for when the album is about to be released.
