I'm kind of impressed by the AM stats. I didn't expect a song that sounded like that to do that well, and probably most of that is people who've waited to listen after a long time.

I don't care at all for the 1st day numbers. She never had big debuts and I don't think it's gonna be different now with streaming. It's all about the performance in the long run when it comes to Rihanna. It's cute having 1st day/week record numbers that will be broken by another artist 6 months later but that means nothing on longevity. I don'T wanT a number 1 ThaT no-one will remember The nexT week. 

Later on when chart stats come out I hope people will compare it in context to other soundtrack songs

GP loves this song. I've only seen great reviews of and reactions to this song online.

And in my social circle there's only been positive reactions to the song too! Even from people that don't like many Rihanna songs.

 

It really seems like a music forum/fan war kind of thing. It's kind of pathetic, but the GP liking it is the thing that matters and what we should focus on!

she rises to #5 on global daily top artist chart surpassing BTS who did 21.6M on thursday, so i'm guessing she did around 22-24M which is 10-12M increase from her thursday number, so.... i guess the song did around 7-9M assuming her catalog also get a boost and instrumental did <1M

The song is a masterpiece, I don't care what some losers on a pop forum say. I've only read good things about it, outside this bubble.

I m really curious about how Born Again sounds like. Yea it's a ballad but it's probably way different than LMU based on the producers. Another week another Rihanna song! Can't wait.
