Who knows if this will be commercially successful, but I'm honestly happy that her voice has matured, she continues to focus on the artistry, and she gave us something powerful. That's ultimately what I wanted from her anyway. The bops will come in the future.

Please tune out the negativity. It’s not necessary . They want her to flop to feel better about their faves.  The song is the song nothing will change. She’s releasing music again. Not everybody is going to like it what’s most important is that she’s putting music out again. That’s a big step for her especially being away for so long.

This is not her real comeback.. it's a song from a soundtrack and a tribute to the actor who died. Wait for her real Lead single and the new album closer to the superbowl date.

All the official videos on youtube for the song have amassed almost 7 million views so far (without accounting for the music video 'cause the views are still stuck, but it's at ≈130k likes so it's probably at around 1M views). 

The fact that I wasn't planning to watch Wakanda Forever on opening weekend but now it's a MUST

I never considered Rih to care about EGOT like other pop girls but all this Oscar talk from critics has me excited not gonna lie. (1st time she’s strategically attached herself to a blockbuster movie)
- I mean the absolute kiiii if she winds up getting noms for Lift me Up and Emmy nom: Savage X Fenty, Super Bowl, or her documentary
