They sound amazing honestly I think dropping on Friday could be good. More people will be using Spotify/AM/etc to stream Bey so the chances of people finding this are higher I guess

!!! After ALL of the speculation about the delays, to release on the same day is peak irony.

I really hope this means candy paint comes in august. Her team better not screw this up too

Gold just leaked. The verses and prechorus are GODLY. 

 

The chorus is weak though. Almost down the list, all her leaks have weak choruses. Maybe that’s why these songs get up scrapped. The choruses aren’t strong/memorable. Still Gold could have stayed on the album. 

Her version of Gold is really, really good and the song absolutely should have stayed with her. I agree the chorus probably isn't memorable enough to make the song single material, but it definitely could have been a strong album track.
