Album had a June 17th date going around, with Candy Paint coming in May.  In all honesty, if she doesn't release CP (or whatever they have in mind - bc insiders are saying they changed plans for what to release) in August, then we can def say goodbye to her career for good. Wild Side started the album era and it was a great album launcher. Whoever thought they needed more momentum, ****** her up real good. Now she has nothing and a VMA performance will not change that besides making Twitter talk about her for 2 days. Normani will not have a smash hit without an album. The GP wants to consume a body of work from her. 

Y’all can miss me with that “her career is over” narrative.. A talent like hers only come in once in a generation like Aaliyah. So no matter how much mess they throw her she will always come out on top like she did in 5H. She’s Always been the underdog and it’s sad to watch y’all give up on her especially since she hasn’t even release her debut.  If the album is trash I will jump ship with y’all but this is too early to say her career is over. I don’t see this energy for others who are in the same boat of no album ie Chloe, Cardi.

There should be an announcement within the next ~2 weeks if she sticks to the current plan

If @wildsidenormani said within the next 2 weeks, then CP has to be releasing either the 19th or the 26th. These two dates are the only Fridays in this month that are past the two weeks threshold.

This lets me know a single is actually coming this month. Kuk always does this right before the song drops. Also, someone mentioned on Twitter that Roc Nation staff was there for some reason.

Also, the Instagram streets are sating Emil Nava directed the New To You music video (I think he did Waves as well) and it’s coming out this Friday or at least within the month. The confirmation came from his own post teasing it and a liked comment on Instagram.

 

Seems like we’re getting some movement here on several fronts. AugustMani is a thing for now.

S10 is under Roc Nation so it doesn’t necessarily mean anything. Unless you’re talking about other Roc Nation staff but you’d have to send a screenshot w/ specifics lol.

Not expecting anything and can’t even pretend to be excited anymore but CP with video and a VMA performance would be ideal. If she picks up an award and has a great performance that would almost be enough to bring this project back to life but that’s a perfect scenario

She was SVP, Head of A&R at Roc Nation when Normani first signed with S10 management

She stayed connected with Normani's projects after leaving Roc Nation 1/2 years ago

 

 

Which gives me the tiniest sliver of hope that Normani could free herself from her limp management eventually

I’m confused about her presence because she’s still described as of *JUNE* as a VP (of A&R) at Roc Nation.

Even if you snoop on her Instagram, she’s still at a lot of Roc Nation events this year. She continues to have a good relationship with them which is odd and she played some role with Fair’s rollout. 
 

Either way, this is all good news because Normani’s main players from her last releases are in formation. Clearly something is going to happen this month. What we don’t know is whether a Candy Paint video is in existence or if Candy Paint is still the single (which some people on twitter are speculating).

She NEEDS to announce the album with a firm release date when she announces the next single. No more droplets to see how they do. And a theatre tour afterwards. If they don't do this her career is over.

Excited for the annual single release, VMA performance and 8 months of silence afterwards
