I'm sorry but I can't stand that flip flop flipping ass bxtch Zach.   Any who. The hype was dead they said. Nobody cared they said. The engagement will never be like it was with Motivation t

She can post promotion for Ciara's song but not her own?

Look at Ravyn Lenae and Leon

Ravyn's song Love Me Not just reached the Top 20 on Billboard as is still rising. The song started off in the bubbling under hot 100

Leon's song Mutt debuted at 100 and is now #12. Possibly going to reach the top 10 next week.

I can't help but think "this could've been one of Normani's songs." Even her fellow RCA artist Flo Milli had a song start out in the bubbling charts and ended up in the top 10. I don't understand what keeps her from promoting her songs properly. Did get she used to a label doing the promotions like Epic did for 5H?

Normani is listed as co-lead of the ectasty remix and she's probably using this remix to re-launch herself. That's why she's posting promo videos. It's been over a year since Dopamine. I think after this song... she will announce another single.

She needs to jump back into the industry. I know that bill from Sony must be crazy

You know Normani doesn't have the drive to continuously promote a song like that. All she does is tell us "Run it Up" and goes back into hiding.

I mean Motivation could've easily went top 10; is she wasn't too picky and avoiding pop music.

For the X Factor girlies, Diamond White & Carly Rose exposed Normani hooking up with Arin Ray @ 27:43

I mean they literally have said that before but they just put a name to a person.

I wonder if July is when she'll release? It makes the most sense. Late July a single; then in August she can perform it at Empowher. I mean that's a pretty full proof plan.

No. That would be too easy. She has spent too much time on them tbh. I'm pretty sure it's scrapped at this point. Just a waste of time and energy for what? For nothing?

Hmm..

After this fantastic Ciara remix, I'm ready for another album, or EP from Normani. We're clearly beyond the point of Dopamine promo, so she should start teasing the next project

She was at the Cowboy Carter tour yesterday.

Looks like Radio is playing the remix so hopefully it keeps rising :duca:

I'm happy to see her Normani on a chart again. Hopefully; RCA lets her out of the basement.

Is there ANY chance that she is on Cardi's album? We never got the usual ***-for-tat that she does when she has a feature.

So i guess this is why we haven't gotten anything from Dopamine. That's rather disappointing to see potential go down the drain because of this perfectionist bs.

Im not sure where we can pull it around now. I think it's a small chance she can reach a level of a Lizzo or SZA but she needs to just let go and perform.

She just needs to get the confidence to be open and not so uptight. I would maybe only have 2 singles planned. Something low budget and artistic similar to About Damn Time or Billie's When the Party's Over. Go back to her early Fifth Harmony roots.

Less highly produced videos and more focus on performance with bare bones production. I think she's one of those artists that needs a smaller budget because she can go overboard with anything bigger than 600-800k.

I mean to spend 1 million on the Motivation MV just for half the scenes to be cut goes crazy to me. Then to not promote the song afterwards could definitely turn off a label

90% of the stuff from that account is complete rubbish, I'd take this with a grain of salt

I know we'll get something this summer and I'm grateful for Flare's scoop.

But does anyone have any more possible crumbs or info about that new song we are waiting for?

I love how moody and dark it sounds - We know this is her specialty - I am imagining visuals to this type of sound. It may either be a sexy song (like 1:59, Wild Side, Lights On) or sad, in your feelings type of song (Fair)

As I said before, I have a good guess that HARV produced it, since he does a lot of her songs and the drums sound like that of Fair

Where did Flare say that? And where is this coming from again?

I wouldn't even think of posting it if it was another leak account. This one has been correct about most of their information. We also have been hearing some nuggets about her going more pop but still having a mostly R&B album. It sounds the most plausible to me because she has been so insistent on doing R&B but RCA is most likely looking for her to do music that is GP friendly. I personally just want something danceable from her.

I think it's pretty funny that her favorite artist is Janet who literally had a whole dance album and popped off with New jack swing but can't fathom doing anything uptempo. It just rather ironic unless RCA doesn't car anymore now that they have a breadwinner in Doja and Tate.

If I were her; I would just be happy to be releasing music and give it my all. If it sells; it's sells; if it doesn't? I mean you can't win them all.

Flare didn't say that. I should have said I'm hoping it comes this summer.

Sorry, I should be more careful when discussing, I wouldn't want to give the community wrong info.

interesting point you made about Tate being RCA's bread winner

Well Tate is literally what they wanted Normani to do. Down to the same photographer and the aesthetic for which they gave to ashe. They wanted another britney spears; Normani was just a means to an end. I personally think that she was an experiment to see if another dance artist was achievable.

Normani and Motivation was the test which somewhat worked. The thing is Normani didn't really promote the song. Which is why they were probably asking her to create an album around that sound but she refused.

That's where Tate comes in; she can dance, and to make dance music you don't need much of a voice. She fit the bill and the probably gave her the challenge if she wanted to release another album and ended up excelling at the sound/image.

Now that Tate has somewhat filled that niche. Normani doesn't need to do that kind of music anymore. However, the catch is that as Tate is the new front runner of the label most of the budget that would've went to Normani is now going to Tate.

Hence, why Dopamine had no promo or radio deals. Their annual budget and expenditure won't allow it. Which to me makes sense when it comes to the fact that since then Tate has been in hella promotions, deals, and a tour whilst Normani gets nothing.

These twitter accounts just make stuff up. Pretty sure whoever runs this account saw normani stans freaking out that Normani wasn't included in RCA's black music post a week ago and then made this up lol.

It was the Wild Side MV that she spent $1 million of her own money on because the budget wasn't enough for her vision. That means the label's support was already minimal by that time. I don't see why she should do smaller budget music videos if she has the money herself to fund them.

Anyway, her Fifth Harmony days are the reason for her perfectionism. She said this in an interview. Remember, they weren't in control of anything. I know we all would like her career to be different, but I don't want her to go back to being unhappy with the label having full control of her career. We all remember the motivation era. She was always more excited talking about having control over the MV would be done than the actual song.

Can y'all stop with that lie …normani did not spend a million dollars of her own money..just like the stunt with the basketball in motivation wasn't actual real. I hate to say this but the girl fibs a lot. She puts out false information all the time. Motivation wasn't push after the VMA because it didn't do well streaming wise/sales or radio. Once the song didn't do anything the label stepped back and made her record more. The label was looking for a HIT to launch the album and couldn't get it.

I don't see the TMR comparisons. Besides being trained dancers, they have nothing in common sonically.

TMR has been pop since she first came out in 2017 and has only started to sound a tad bit more urban last year or so.

Normani on the other hand briefly dipped her solo toes into a more pop leaning sound, but then came out with a full R&B album.

One is a white pop girlie, the other is a Black R&B singer. Different lanes.

Whatever happened with Dopamine, I doubt it had anything to do with Tate's success, as both, Normani and Tate, can easily co-exist.

She didn't spend $1M but she did cover a portion of the costs with her own, because it exceeded the budget. Her "lying" about the basketball bit was just her playing into the fantasy and was never that serious lol.
