So is even going to make an appearance anywhere? Like I'm confused with what's going on. It seemed like she was excited for something but I pretty sure a remix wouldn't get her that excited. (Especially when she literally had a song on Calvin's album and she literally said nothing of it.) 

 

It either has to be a MV or she's releasing something. This is why people are starting to leave the fandom. 

 

She should be doing more hints and posting more snippets to get people excited. She teases and then immediately goes silent, which makes the only people who looking for the release more anxious and annoyed. 

 

You would've thought after years and backlash she would've known this strategy ain't it.

that's the thing about her that makes it seem like she's fine where she is most times bc most of the girls stockpile content, live their lives, tour for awhile, then go back into hiding and repeat. it's rly NOT a hard thing to engage with your fans in this current climate!! so it's disheartening she won't lift a finger

Im not saying she has to be an open book but damn! Give us something to work with! 

 

Even when she was doing Motivation I remember she was a lot more interactive. 

 

I think RCA putting a pause on her album really messed with her confidence. However, she isn't a newcomer to the biz; you release a bubble gum album to bring in new listeners and then you go the more experimental route. 

 

I mean I get being aggravated with you not getting the funding/investment that you want. However, that doesn't mean you should isolate yourself and pretend your fans don't exist. 

I feel bad for those who still care. We got Dopamine which is a great record but after that I let it all go, she is not serious about her career.

The only "good" things were the Spotify event and that festival that got postponed.

 

And yes, I think Normani is to blame for this, that's probably why Brandon Creed let her go.

I think so, his management company's official account @/goodworld follows all artists he works with but not Normani. Lydia seems to be the only one who gets involved in her career.

I think Silverstein or someone close to him is blackballing her and I think on top of the fact that she won't make pop music which is what the label wants is another strike against her. 

 

I personally understand why she would be apprehensive of doing pop but tbh I would never waste a perfectly good career to do R&B fully. I'm not sure why she is so adamant about doing our R&B when her most notable song was pop.

Y'all really be concocting the wildest crap to try explain why her career has nosedived 

the twitter nation is so delusional blaming RCA for everything, it's a bad label but i can't blame RCA for all things in her career, she worked with several famous producers, recorded music videos and most of the content was not released. The label invested in her and she knows it, she even thanked them recently.

 

she needs to believe in herself more and that's the point.

For all of Brandon's faults, he was at least making sure initially that she was booked for everything she needed to be. Now in this modern age, Normani is not booked at all. She's not even attending award shows in the audience or red carpets to get more fashion industry buzz. Like what are we doing here? 
 

Nothing is moving yet RCA won't just drop her or force her to release (more solo) music. At some point, something has to give
