Thats all we needed was some reassurance that she actually wants to be seen instead of radio silence. 

 

She looks stunning! Also I think the snippet sounds good. I think we should get some upbeat music as she's been releasing a lot of mid tempo  but I'm not complaining. As long as she gets to release some music I won't be too harsh on her.

Here's the thing though HBD MANI we love you girl. But also I seriously don't think she'd drop new music without even giving visuals for dopamine as even a gift to the fans ? I'd also for real love for her to go indie or do a distribution deal - just get music out. She can shoot more low budget visuals for now. Just show us you can dooo it. So much potential

I am really obsessed with the snippet.

And that's just the instrumental so far.  Now we will get to experience the reveal of the song, piece by piece.  I wonder what the vocals sound like or what the lyrics are about.

I am guessing the song is produced by HARV, because the drums seem like those of Fair. His songs have a dark and moody quality to them.

If I may add my 2 cents - the snippet is not reversed.

I have played with music making software before, I know what reversed sounds sound like. In the reversed snippet, the drums sound reversed.  So I think the original version is the real version, the actual melody.

I just do not want you guys expecting something different.

Did you guys hear from one of those rumor accounts that she was working with Anderson Paak, Rodney Jerkins, and Bryan Michael Cox so I'm pretty sure she's still doing full R&B. 

 

Im thinking that this may be either vocal stem or maybe an album track. Let's just hope that she learned from 1:59 that she needs a pop/up-tempo song sooner or later.

The snippet sound a little bit like the beginning of All yours. I don't know how to describe it but yeah, it made me think of that.

The hair stylist who did her hair for her birthday post posted her picture and at the same time posted on there story eye emoji and said they have been happy to work with her these pay few weeks!!! - also a dancer/influencer who works with a dancer agency said they heard a new track  and plus her stuff getting updated yesterday and a possible snippet from her -there are a lot of little things happening maybe she is preparing something

Normani is Definitely on the new Ciara remix of her song ecstasy, the snippet she posted on instagram is from that song.
